- I am not an advocate of the death penalty in circumstantial evidence cases. But this was an act of premeditation and unusually and extremely cruel to boot. Also, if a dog attacks a human and either maims or kills that human, we have no problem putting the animal down.

- I like the part of the article where it says, "He could face the death penalty." Why would we consider anything less given the catastrophic nature and end results of his actions? While I do not strongly advocate the death penalty when the evidence is often circumstantial, that is not the case here …

- Whatever caused the fire and this horrific tragedy is really sad. My deepest condolences to the family and friends who lost their loved ones in this incident. And, I just think it is so amazing that there are some idiots posting on here who find it so easy to joke about something so tragic.

- I'm sure Albert DiSalvo's (the Boston Strangler) neighbors thought he was a good guy, because he was a family man with a wife and kids. You never know what goes on in someone's mind and sometimes leads them to do bizarre things. Fortunately, only car windows were damaged and no humans were hurt.

- Pretty soon, Carnival will be paying the passengers to sail on their curse line....and no that was not a spelling error. It was intentional. Has anyone heard of Royal Carribean...might want to consider that option before booking your next trip.
